Pioneer of abstract art, Piet Mondrian (Dutch, 1872-1944) developed a unique style that is much emulated today. A leading figure of the De Stijl art movement in the early 20th century, his work aligned with the movement’s basic premise of reducing art and architecture to simplified geometric shapes and primary colors. Eventually breaking with the movement, he evolved his own modern aesthetic, calling it Neoplasticism. This concept limited his palette to the three primary colors, three values of black, white and gray, and vertical and horizontal lines, ultimately resulting in his most iconic paintings.
Our Modgy Vase is an homage to this enduring modernist style.
Great! Love the vases. Wish you could figure out how to make bigger ones.
I placed an order for 2 window vases and 1 luminary. I received a shipment quickly, but they accidentally sent me this vase instead of a luminary, which I also liked a lot but I wanted to get the luminary that I ordered. Customer service responded quickly and resolved the situation. Everything I ordered was really high quality and made a real pop.
Quality, simplicity !!!
The clean design and primary colors lend a vibrant note to a bouquet of red tulips.
Love these easy gift items
Thanks for the positive review. Glad to hear!
