This jar opener is very pretty, but it is way too stiff to be used as a jar opener…or maybe too thick. I tried to open a jar with it, and couldn’t get a good grip on the lid because it just won’t contour well enough to the lid to turn it. It would mark a great hot pad for smaller pots or cups.
This was a gift so I cannot answer your questions.
