Louis C. Tiffany’s (American, 1848-1933) pioneering use of opalescent glass allowed his artisans to “paint” with glass, enabling the creation of his extraordinary windows. These lovely luminaries are inspired by a landscape window in the collection of the New-York Historical Society. Painterly swaths of translucent color sweep across the “Magnolia Landscape” punctuated by leading, sculpted in places to mimic the contours of magnolia branches – which is as integral to the imagery as the milky and multicolored glass.

I have bought six sets of Modgy vases & Lanterns in various designs for presents. They make great host & hostess gifts. They look great and are easy to use. Ordering was simple and they arrived on time.
first saw these at the Museum of Fine Art in Boston, but didn’t want to carry them home so waited and ordered them once I was home. I love the water-sensitive tea lights and that these lovely lanterns are safe to use on our brick patio during the summer. I will be buying more of these as gifts since they are pet and child friendly too.
They are beautiful, easy to use, easy to pack away when not using, and everyone loved them! Also, nice that they come in a four pack so I added one to each of my children and friends gift bags !
I think these are my favorite, with the blend of blue, green and white.
I love everything I purchased and have given them as gifts, now my friends have ordered them..think I have 4 friends who have ordered things from you!
