I just started using my trivet in the last couple of days and it's been great. Until just now, when I heated up a pot of boiling water. Once I poured my water into a pitcher, I placed the empty pot onto my trivet and it immediately left a burn ring mark. I was using my induction burner where the max heat is 465º. I guess those 15º really do make a difference as now my brand new trivet has a constant reminder showing me not to set anything that hot on it. I used this same induction burner (different pan) last night while fixing dinner and set the hot pan directly onto the trivet multiple times and didn't have any issues so that's why this morning, I didn't think twice about setting the hot pot on it. I struggled with how to rate above, as I truly love all of the Modgy products I have purchased, but it's just a bummer to use it just a handful of times and have it become permanently marred, especially when the print is just so pretty. Just a warning to others to be mindful of the temps!
